Delicious food and the service was great, good location.
The food was well cooked, decently seasoned. The portions were adequate, although we’ve had larger at other diners. The service is excellent, the one minor issue was handled swiftly and efficiently. Overall, they exceeded our expectations.
Great classic diner. I didnt love the corned beef rueben i recently ordered, but everything else here is amazing. Delicious homemade soups (we love the chicken, navy bean and lentil).
Omg! What a cute find! My friends and I went to medieval times and wanted a little coffee before heading back to New York. Well people let me tell you. This place is awesome. Old school diner feel. Danielle and Denise handled this crazy crew of ten with smiles and grace! Thank you for making room for us. We'll be back

Update October 16, 2025 Been coming here everyday since Friday. Met the OWNER Jimmy who's a workaholic. I love my Delux breakfast. Taylor Ham & Egg NO CHEESE with home fries!!! Jimmy has great food and a great friendly atmosphere. A good vibe is always appreciated when sitting down wanting to eat. Could never remember Lyndhurst NJ for some reason. Been saying "Leesburg" NJ. (Inside joke) lol good food, good people. So come check them out. 1900 when my trucks fixed I'm in the wind. BAMA TRUCKER - ROLL TIDE 1st time coming here. I had the pleasure of getting served by Denise. She's the best waitress I've had in years. Lot of folks seem to not care about the customer, but Denise held it down and was professional and managed all her tables. Living in the south for over 20 years we dont have Taylor Ham. So I had to get my Taylor Ham being in Jersey. This place has a rustic family vibe to it. I love the lights on the outside. So it's hard to miss. Dope spot & would def recommend coming here. Amazing diner real old skool. Jimmy the owner and staff were very welcoming to the vintage diner with the swivel stools. Outstanding burger with Portobello and Swiss and Holy Cow the Cheesecake with caramel 😋
Such a good place to eat breakfast at. A little bit of a wait on a Saturday but it was worth it - the food was great and the coffee was hot and fresh. Parking is limited due to their small parking lot. You may get lucky with street parking. Service was nice , waitress was friendly and efficient. We ordered the bacon and cheddar omelet with home fries ; mornin burger ; and chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream. Soo good! Our food came out fast.
The true definition of a NJ diner! Saturday afternoon, everything was moving quickly. The place was packed, but I didn't wait more than a few minutes before a table was ready. Service is on point. It moved like a well oiled machine! The food hit the spot! Disco fries were perfect and the eggplant panini was amazing! I could only eat half, it was huge! What a crunch! My husband had a cheeseburger. Generous portions and great flavor. Took a sample bite of my "to-go" monster slice of strawberry cheesecake - and I can't wait to get back to it! Yum! I highly recommend this little gem in Lyndhurst!
